The revelation came as Johar expressed regret for not being able to cast Tagore in a role originally played by Shabana Azmi in the movie "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." Johar revealed that Tagore was his first choice for the role, but health concerns during the pandemic prevented her from accepting the offer.

The 79-year-old actor, known for her iconic roles in films like "Aradhana" and "Amar Prem," did not provide specific details about her battle with cancer but emphasized the cautious approach due to being unvaccinated at the time.
